Elizabeth Karmel, the chef and barbecue specialist who was at Hill Country in New York, has taken her pork online. Her new barbecue enterprise, Carolina Cue To-Go, in partnership with David Lineweaver, offers pulled pork by the pound with buns, shredded cabbage for slaw and vinegary Carolina-style sauce for the pork and the cabbage. The site also sells packages of very good beef franks to reheat and nestle in rolls with the slaw.
